The Ann Murray PTA Clothing Back was established in the late 1950s to solve a major truancy problem – some students were not in school because their parents were unable to provide suitable clothing.  In recent years, the clothing bank has provided clothing to over 3,000 children per year. All students served are referred by a social services agency or by the student’s school.  A request form is needed by the family in need. /Content/2_47/Files/bank.docx Those forms may be given by the school or BCCPTA/PTSA. Volunteers and clothing are always needed to keep this service alive.  BCCPTA/PTSA requests local units to help us keep the clothing bank open by organizing clothing drive in their school or community. There is also a county-wide drive held at least once a year. The clothing bank is open during the school calendar year until Memorial Day. It is not open during school holidays or on teacher workdays. The Clothing Bank is coordinated by the Clothing Bank Committee under the direction of the Clothing Bank Chair.

Our clothing bank is located at Lauderdale Manors Resource Center,. Go to the Location page for a map. Our current hours are Saturdays from 9am-12pm. We are closed on school holidays and teacher workdays, and for the summer.  1400 NW 14th Court, Building 4, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311
